Yeh me too, i really hope they keep that speedo in the middle and the rev counter in front of the driver. Thats one of the features of the mini that shud stay keeping it different from just about every other car on the market!

I hadn't seen that article yet. The new bonnet didn't look that bad, in fact it was kinda the same. I like the entry level Cooper idea too. Makes me worried about upgrading to an S though... wondering how much it will cost me in '08?

Somebody's bound to come out with MINI Cooper speedometer dinner plates.. that thing is HUGE -!

I'm not feeling those wagons much either TBH... maybe a 2 seat speedster for me if anything...
unless they do an AWD S, that would be cool..

they just keep re-hashing the same old rubbish, but then I guess that they know that MINI sells copies, so it helps to put them in every few weeks

we all know where the new MINI will get its first detailed information shown, well the info we can trust

Yes they were, if you look at the very bottom of the article before the bit where people add their comments you'll see these pictures

I did find them in the article, but I meant to put my emphasis on "recently", not on "added"

There is no indication that these pictures were added recently; as far as I can tell they were added soon after the original posting in March. They certainly are not radically different from what I've seen before.

Anyway, no harm done, I was just curious.

this is what my 07 should look like, to kind of show the dimensions, I put the spy pic in too
the 07 is going to have a bigger sidemarker, and slightly less curves. I know the side mirrors are going to be less round. The S that I have heard will probably not have the hood scoop because the intercooler will be moved to the lower intake. But! it could be the cold air intake. Not sure. Also, I plan on painting the chrome grill red and leave the black black. It looks odd how I had to warp the pic but if you look at the spy photo that really what it looks like. and once you agree with that, and get further back, I think the new cooper looks even better than the 06. OH! and another thing, this is what the Cooper will probably look like. I heard that the S is going to have an even bigger grill, Something like this custom one from ac schnitzer.

The hood scoop will still be on the S. Wether it's still functional or not is anyone's guess, but it'll still be there.
