| My MINI Story...... Just thought i'd share this with you guys and gals  MY MINI STORY (from the beginning to here and now) Going to look at a MINI tomorrow Shan’t get my hopes up, it could all end in sorrow…… ……however sitting on the forecourt waiting patiently for fun Was a gorgeous Cosmos Black MINI ONE…… ……16” alloys and aircon too She had everything I wanted, I had nothing to loose…… ……took her for a test drive, a spin around the block I was so happy, I was in shock…… ……with a grin on my face, through all the fun I had to calm down, there was a deal to be done…… ……chose some extras and the figures were right All of a sudden the future looked bright…… ……signed the papers and completed the deal This MINI was mine, it was going to be real…… ……left the dealers and began the countdown Kept walking round with a grin like a clown…… ……five, four, three, two, one The day had arrived, time for more fun…… ……with her new stripes and mirrors she looked divine And the best of it was she was mine all mine…… ……whilst I was composed and completely at ease I kept thinking one thing - just give me those keys!…… ……as I drove her away there was an element of fear Did I look silly with a grin from ear to ear?!…… ……on the way home we stopped for some photos I jumped up and down as I looked at my motor…… ……I’d worked hard for this day and it was finally here A day to be proud of year after year…… ……nearly seven months later I’m proud to announce I still love my MINI - every ounce!!!!!! The words just came to me so i wrote them down  |

| Do you know I realised it again today.... .... hadnt driven MINI anywhere for two days this week so took her for a run down the dual carriageway tonight. There I was driving along, music playing (Queen - dont stop me now [my driving song]) and I just thought OH MY GOD I LOVE IT I remember March 5th like yesterday - walking away from the dealers almost in tears I'd just bought the one thing I'd dreamed about since day one. And as for March 12th well, that will be imprinted for ever and a day  Having only driven it round 30mph roads for the past week or so it was great to open it up a little, I'd forgotten just how quick and nippy it was (yes thats right MCS owners a ONE is quick  )I'll have had it 9 months this weekend and boy am I happy. Its just, well, the best thing since sliced bread So happy another poem sprung up THE WONDERFUL THING ABOUT MINI’S The wonderful thing about MINI’s. Is MINI’s are wonderful things. Their tops are all different colours. Their bottoms make everyone grin. sorry for the ramble - AGAIN  |

| Good for you!! Remember the day I picked mine up, the taxi driver pulled up at the dealer and gestured to a blue convertible and said "That one is beautiful" and with a huge grin on my face I said "That one's mine" |

| Supa - You are wonderful! Thanks for putting a smile on my face today during a long hard day in the office!!! You do have some serious talent. I remember getting MY Mini like it was yesterday... Oh wait, it was Sunday. *grins* Only 5 days, but everyone in my office knows he's mine and has comments on him and I am a Mini convert. I wonder how I ever drove anything else. |

| These are some great stories to read! I've just put a deposit down on the most beautiful PW/B Cooper ever (well i'm biased I know!) and cannot wait to go and see it this weekend! Im counting down the days until collection on the 30th, so hopefully I'll be posting my own story soon! |
