Hello from a newbie

hello everyone,

just thought i'd say hi as this is my first time on the board.

I purchased "Go Mini" magazine last night and I'm hooked on Mini's again.... I had a Classic Mini a couple of years back and had my first drive of a New Mini Cooper S at Croft racing circuit last week. I was amazed by the S. It was such good fun and the handling/power was amazing.

I love the look of the Lohen Mini One in Go Mini. I am going to keep my eye open for a second hand basic Mini One over the next month of so. There is no point in getting a high spec on if i'm going to change things on it.

Laters, Bear

Welcome back to Minis and to Mini2.

I am 6'2" and I am very comfortable and have heard from a colleague of a 6'7" Mini Cooper driver... so you have no worries about comfort.

The only problems with Minis is that they are very addictive!!

Hi! I'm fairly new too, but everyone here is really friendly.
As Neil the Hat says, you shouldn't have problems getting into a new Mini - my boyfriend is 6 foot 2 or 3 and he's perfectly fine driving mine.

i'm sure i won't have problems.

when i was in the cooper s at croft circuit i had a helmet on as well, and it did not hit the roof. unlike when i tried to get into the ferrari 308gt. driving at 100mph with my head touching my shoulder.

not comfortable at all.
