| Ok, I just checked and I believe you are confused with what side is the "hot". The needle rest on the cold side and when it starts to warm up, in moves up towards the hot side. The needle move in a counter clockwise direction. The gas gauge does the opposite, it starts off at the bottom as well, but moves in a clockwise direction. |
