| temperature gauge question i've just noticed that whenever i start my mini, the temp gauge starts hot (i guess because that's the side it "rests" on) and takes a minute or two to get to the halfway point between hot and cold. once it hits the halfway point it's fine. but should i be concerned that it stays on the hot side for a long time, or is this normal? thanks   |

| Ok, I just checked and I believe you are confused with what side is the "hot". The needle rest on the cold side and when it starts to warm up, in moves up towards the hot side. The needle move in a counter clockwise direction. The gas gauge does the opposite, it starts off at the bottom as well, but moves in a clockwise direction. |
