Has anyone had this happen? I figure it is in need of a trip to the dealer, but I was wondering if anyone else has had this happen. When the door was opened this morning (not locked - in garage) and key not inserted yet, the lights kind of flickered on and off. I searched and found a thread about the lights not coming on at all, and will try to reset it with the inside light button, but this seems more like a short.

Would a loose reverse light housing (thus not grounded) possibly cause this if it fell off completely?

Thoughts?

I had to do a few searches but found at least one thread... I had a similar problem, got it sorted at the dealer, they said it was a loose battery terminal, once cleaned up and refitted it never did it again..

could be something really simple, i had this when my car was delivered. Sometimes the light flickered sometimes it didn't come on at all , there was no rhyme or reason to it. Finally the problem was traced to a faulty interior light bulb, nothing serious. I'm not saying this is all it could be butmy dealer tried all sorts of things then found a faulty bulb
