What should I ask my dealer when I pick up my Mini....

I will be picking up my Mini S next month. What questions should I ask my dealer when I pick it up? What did you learn when you picked up your car or afterward you thought..."Hey I should have asked my dealer this...."

For example when I was reading here I found out about the option of having the Comfort Opening setting on the Key and dashboard so that if you hold the button down the sunroof and windows open is programable by the dealer.

Steve.

Make sure you ask about "ALL" the programable options, not just the key fob options. There is a pretty good list on this forum and others. I downloaded a list and used it when I went back for some service work. Ping me and I'll send you what I have.

Give me a hand please mate, this thing is heavy?!

Make sure in advance you ask about computer options, they vary from car to car so ask about programmable options BEFORE you pick it up, then make sure they work when you do.

Ask for freebies, see the big "Free Stuff" thread in the dealership feedback forum.

Apart from that, just try and get along with the dealer, it's good for both of you if you can be nice to each other, when it comes to any servicing or possible problems you have later, better be known as the nice (but well informed) customer, than the really grumpy demanding one!
