astro black vs. standard black?

Hi all,

I've finally decided to go for my first Mini now , a Mini Copper S Cabriolet in black. Any comments on which black to choose from though, Metalic or non?

Solid Black is finished so you will have to get metallic black, I think metalic black looks more like a dark blue

Astro metallic looks more Sparkly in the sun and much more attractive.
But Solid Black is just as good as looks Sharp when washed + Waxed

Haven't they discontinued Solid black now though?

My dealer can import one from May 05 in solid black but I can't see from pictures if there's much difference to the two. I suppose the astro has the sparkle yes, I'll have to give the solid some laquer sealment or what it's called in English?
I live in Malmö (but I'm Danish) Just moved here from London a month ago, absolutely love it..

When both the colours are clean solid black looks much better, but when they are dirty they look very similar
