Offline  | Rally lights? hello everyone, I'm going this Saturday July 13th to order a Mini cooper. In the brochure they gave me at the dealership it shows Mini's with big bugeyed lights on the front. I want these on my car but my question is, Can you order them when you order your car or are these after market? On the MiniUsa site they show mini's with these on them. Offline | I'm pretty sure you can purchase these through your dealer. I think they are installed at the dealer once they receive your car. -don't take my word for it, just a guess- I would call your dealer and ask them, they should know.  |

Offline | I am not sure which picture you are looking at but there are dealer installable rally lights available. They list at $400 plus installation. Installation can be anywhere from $200 to $500. 2007 DS/W MCS LSD, sport suspension, Enkei RPM2 wheels 2002 EB/W MCS Sport package, Rogue intake, Borla exhaust, 15% pulley & Madness sway bar |

Offline | the rally lights ("driving lights" in the brochure) are indeed dealer installed. i wanted these badly when i ordered my car, but was quoted a price of $800 installed - a tad too much i felt. i rarely drive where they'd be needed for visibility, i'd get them for cosmetic reasons only. anyhow, you can add them later at any time. as i understand it, they're a bit tricky to install, hence the hefty price. for some reason it involves removing the seats (no really, do a search, i believe it's been discussed on this board before). just to prove i'm not mad; here's that post: http://www.mini2.com/forum/showthrea...4256#post64256 cooper s '05 x brg/white/chrome, cordoba/anthracite/chrome, flik wasp 17x7 x delivered july 26th 2005 cooper '02 replaced x brg/white, R83 white, chrome, cordoba x built june 21st, arrived july 15th on the traviata, delivered july 26th 2002 Last edited by xplode : Jul 10th, 2002 at 11:35 AM. |
