Hi Everyone! I'm Angelo from Long Island, NY. I havent been around for a while due to some serious health probs. I had a heart attack and discovered I have Diabetes. I used to be known as Marbles Mahoney and I started The Long Island MINI Club in 2004 before I even took delivery of my MINI! The club was such a sucsess that I was asked to merge it with newyorkmini.org in an attempt to corral all the various NY area clubs that had formed.

Well after a few online changes, yet more clubs got formed and my beloved Island Of Long, here in NY is once again without a MINI Cooper club to bear its name. I watched all of this last year while recouperating. I'm 44, btw... I'm better and I'm back!

So to fill a need for a club for our local MINI lovers to have an enthusiast driven site (pun intended) , I have restarted The Long Island MINI Club. Its not on Yahoo, but it is a full featured Forum similar to this one. I am dedicated to provide a club that is place to share all your ups and downs about owning the coolest car in the world!

Its brand new and this is the first public notice of its creation. http://liminiclub.proboards81.com/

Soon it will be located at longislandminiclub.com but I wanted to give you all an op to test drive the new site and say hi!
