Offline | Hi there folks, my MCS has been purchased but is still sitting at the dealers till im 21 in 2 months (for insurance purposes) While its there, they are ftting the aero skirts but thats all. Looking at various galeries, I really like the aero bumpers and so I'm tempted to get them fitted while its in. Do you think I should get the bumpers OR wait and get the milltek cat back and tints later on once I have the car? Last question is are the bumpers an easy DIY fit if I was to get them myself? ( confident DIY'er) Thanks for the help! |

| "Buying and selling" | Hi Mate bet your going mad not being able to pick yer new motor up. Personally i think the MCS will look fine with just the aero skirts on for the time being until the new car syndrome wears off anyway. The aere bumpers are quite soft so suffer from stone chips, id definately get some use form the stock bumpers first before you change over. It is an easy change to be honest ive never done anything like that before and providing you get some info off here you will be fine, so save yourself some labour charges and wait a while put that money towards buying the rest of the kit later and fitting ureself. Either that or spend it on a new exhaust and I wud rather have that in your position and add rest of kit and tints later. Ps fitting my Cooper s filler took me longer and was harder than fitting my aero front bumper. LOL Good Luck! Chris 2001 cooper (sold) ![]() 1995 Supra RZ-S TT auto in white. |

Offline | Cheers for the help mate, and others too. Think your right, I am better to get some use from the existing bumpers before replacing them, I'm paying for them after all. I'll get them to fit the two black bonnet stripes I'm after but leave it at that. Will then get the bumpers later on and fit them myself. The milltek looks and sounds fantastic and tints suit the car to a T in my opinion so should prob go with that Anybody know if the centre armrest is a worthwhile additon, and a rough price? Cheers!
