England Pranged mini, massive stone chip, what next?

Hi all, ever been told that bad things happen in 3's? Well, I'm beginning to wonder what's going to happen next 'cos I've just had number 2 happen to me! I'll cut a long story short so here goes.....during Christmas week I somehow managed to slide on some ice into a kerb and knackered the right-front wheel and the bits behind it. Took 6 weeks to get car back from the garage!!! It spent 3 weeks at the dealer sat outside doing nothing :-( and another 3 weeks at my insurers (Admiral - crap, due for renewal in March but they can take a hike) approved garage. Finally got it back yesterday. Everything seems OK, apart from the interior centre light doesn't work (hopefully just a blown bulb). Anyway, that bump and the resulting insurance repair fiasco/lack of courtesy car was bad point number 1.

Now for number 2....was driving home from work tonight feeling really good about being back in the mini again (so much better than the Micra E courtesy car that I eventually got after 5 weeks). Just got off M1 J26 and was driving down A610 towards Nottingham when BANG, BANG! Jeez what the f**k was that?! Yep, some big fat ugly blue Vauxhall overtook me and I figured had sent a rock into the drivers door! Got home and checked the door out! Oh no! Not one, but 2 scary looking stone chips in the door! F**K I've only had the car back 24 hours and now this happens! Not quite sure if it's gone down to the metal or not

BUT what, I wonder, is going to happen next? I hope this ain't the start of a jinx! Finally, I'm thinking of getting Chips Away to sort the door out. Has anyone ever had a bad experience with them? Or would I be better off taking it back to the dealer?

Hope I haven't bored you all.....happy mini-ing!

Chips Away should be fine ...

(Think you'll be ok, two stone chips you say, well add your wheel and that's the magic 3.)
