United-Kingdom difficult decision!!!!!!!!

Some of you may be aware of the hassles ive had with my dealership in putting stuff right!! Ive been offered or in fact i asked for and got a set of bmw/mini spotlights and a set of jcw brakes in compensation!!!

However they have said they may not get the brakes for a couple of weeks??

Does anyone think i would be better off having the jcw suspension fitted instead of the brakes or shall i just stick with the brakes ????

Jon

I think that suspension provides one of the biggest bang for ya bucks on the mini! Having said that i would go for the brakes 1) They cost more than the suspension 2) If you want the suspension for looks then £125 on a set of eibachs will have the car riding lower than the JCW suspension 3) There isn't 'another' option that's as cheap as the eibachs if you wanted to change the brakes (so what im saying is you could get after market lowering and the brakes cheaper than the suspension and aftermarket brakes!)

oh no not again

hey insane,

look under faults etc in forums you will see loadsa probs i had with my mcs i bought like nearly two weeks ago.

Went back to dealer like 5 times in first wek , so i wanted some compensation??

Basically thats what i asked for thats what i got??

But the guy at jcw reckons i would be better off going with the suspension, because he says unless you have like a massive power upgrade you dont really need top brakes??

MAN NOW IM REALLY CONFUSED!!!!!

HELP !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Go with what Cooper7 said. Get the most expensive that is FREE. The brakes, which cost more, will be free. Thus, the suspension will still be quite a few dollars, however still cheaper than the brakes. You don't need a lot of power to use brakes, you use brakes on a daily basis. Sure, you probably won't reach speeds (decrease) where you will need the brakes "full potential" but there still nice to have. I would go with cooper7 and buy an aftermarket suspension (Eibach) and get the brakes now!!!!
