Got ran into the other day!!

So i got hit into the other day, some guy goin too fast as i was pulling out of a blind exit. If he was going the proper speed he would've been able to slow down and stop, but didn't, so my poor car went off to be repaired. Insurance company got it sorted so my car could go up to Fawdingtons of Newcastle. They sent down a guy the next day to pick it up, and on the back of his recovery vehicle had a nice new One Seven for me as a courtesy. Was told on the phone that it would most probably be a VW Polo or something similar, so was pleased when i saw that on the back. Is a nice little car, feels really good around town and not too much dissimilar to my 53 coop. Just hope my car gets fixed soon, and isnt too much different to before she was hit. Got my faith in BMW.

What kind of damage? I did not see any in the photos. Was it not driveable? How bad was the other car? I am just being nosey.

Hope your car gets fixed and back in your hands soon. I hate it when my cars get damaged. It stinks.

well neither car would start afterwards, not sure if that has something to do with fuel cut off, or the fact that he hit into the side where the starter motor is, but after a few tries mine started the next day. his car looked a lot worse than mine, bumper was hanging right off, smashed headlights etc. on mine the bumper is hanging down slightly, couple of smashed lights. spoke to the guys yesterday, they said it would be about 2 wks to get it all sorted. needs a new bonnet and new bumper, he also said that it needs to be re-jigged or something. they're gonna put 2 new tyres on as well, ive heard that runflats are expensive but still surprised to hear how much they are. at least ive got the one seven for the next couple of weeks. sorry bout the quality of the pics, best i could do at the time.
