Oxford MINI capital of the world

as most people know that minis are made in oxford but does every one think its the capital of mini's as if you go in to oxford driving for about 10 mins you will see around 10 to 20 minis

so can we class Oxford MINI capital of the world ?

I haven't seen that many MINIs anywhere but Oxford so I said yes. What about London though?? There are thousands there

you have to be rather unique around here to avoid being the same as another just down the road

Swarms everywhere.. it's because we are the enlightened ones who know how good they are!

Seriously though, as all MINIs are born here then that extra affinity obviously helps sales with the locals. I know I always love to see a transporter full of them on the Ring Road.

I'd have thought the high proportion of students also give it ideal demographics for ownership around here as well. A lot of students seem to have seriously more wealth than when I had my time! I had to make do with a pushbike and Young Persons Railcard! And we lived in a septic tank and would eat cold gravel. Tell that to students today, and they don't believe you!

I drive round Oxford every day to work and do not see too many mini's there. Where I live is another matter, 8 mini's in a street of less than 50 homes.
