Offline | Hi No more Guesting it for me. You may not bite but some of you can growl & take the mickey a bit. ![]() ![]() ![]() I've been Guesting for some years on and off & and everything has been pretty well covered, so I've never got around to joining. I've just noticed a thread that I can put my pennys worth in, so it's no turning back from here on in, It's not got much to do with MINIs but it's a start. It sounds like the Second Generation (BMW MINI) are going to be another learning curve , so it looks like I'll be with you for a long time.![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Destined to live life £5 behind. Offline | I don't think we've met . Correct, I tried most of the user names connected with MINs, ie "Charlie Croker", "MR Bridger" etc.... from the "ITALIAN JOB" and they had gone, as you would expect on a MINI site, so I grabbed the next DVD down.If "Gone In 60 Seconds" had have been made a couple of years later they could have had some MINIs in it which would have made it a proper film .Thanks! and Hello! ![]() ![]() ![]() Destined to live life £5 behind. Offline | Alright ppl, as every other newly registered person on this site, been checkin out the forums for a while. Had three mini's in my short driving career, started with a Mini 1 cos no-one was stupid to insure me on a MCS at 18 !! but they were when i was 19 so i purchased a gun metal grey one which i got rid of to get the new 2nd generation in march, wohooHave to say looks quality with the JCW kit on n put on some 18" Khan RSC alloys!! (will put some pics up soon)! ! Think the new MCS should only be driven in sport mode, its the only time its REALLY fun !!Ps, who do young MCS drivers insure with, (i have no eyes as they have been torn out over the yrs) |

Offline | Havent bought one but have gone to Irvine to check them out. I would recommend that you shop around. (I've gone to the one in South Bay, Signal Hill, and Irvine). Fine out which ones don't have dealer fees. Fine out which ones offer free stuff ( and I'm not talking about free carpet mats, that's lame. Found out a guy got an ipod adapter $330 for free with his dealer) and remember, its about the deal not when you get it. This is my advice living in Sol-Cal ![]() |

Offline | Hi everyone. Looking at getting a Cooper S ideally, but might settle for a Cooper. Just been to see a high mileage Cooper S, but I'm not sure about it (just posted some questions in the R50 section about it) so hopefully I'll be a Mini owner in the not too distant future ![]() |

Offline | I can't wait!! Hi everyone, I've been a member for just over a week, have posted a couple of questions since joining (in the wrong sections I expect!) only to find further answers elsewhere within the site, I'm becoming more familiar with the site now and have found lots of great information and am enjoying reading the banter in the forums. Anyway, having undertaken a search for my ideal mini over the past 8 months, I am finally due to take delivery of my 05 Reg (which I understand is referred to as an R53?) Cooper S tomorrow. I'm sure you can all relate to the excitement that I am feeling right now, infact I don't think I'll be able to sleep much tonight. ![]() ![]() ![]() |
