Offline | Hi, thought I'd put a post here as the order is now in for a MINI! I had an original MINI for my first car a LONG time ago (1992), it was C-reg and red and I loved it! Just ordered a MINI Cooper S which will be my girlfriend's car but I am looking forward to taking it for the odd spin. Thanks to everyone for the info, particularly helpful source of info on options etc. Cheers, N ![]() |

Offline | Hi Everyone, I've been lurking around here for a few weeks and thought I'd best speak up ![]() Ordered a Lightning Blue/Silver Clubman D in November and should be getting it in a couple of weeks. First car I've ever specced from scratch and finding the waiting unbearable. Currently running a Smart Roadster Coupe (see pic) for the last two years, which is great but the other half and myself are struggling with it as an only car. Fancied a big car so went for a MINI ![]() Thanks for all the informative postings I've read up to now (and will be reading in the future). Ian |

Offline | I'm sure it will. Did think about waiting until the start of March for an 08 plate but I'm a tad impatient and have waited a while already. Not gone too overboard (noticed how scarily easy it would be add 50% to the cost with options) and jut gone for a few extra bits and pieces. As it stands I've added the following: -Pepper Pack -Auto Lights and Wipers (missed these as I had them in company cars before the Smart) -Heated washers and mirrors -TLC Did consider adding a lot more but the GF stopped me before we over stepped our budget ![]() |

Offline | Go for a cheap private plate and nobody will ever know how old/new the car is! I can't remember if you get an MFSW with Pepper but I'd add that if you don't; otherwise it looks good to me. (But. as you say, it's all too easy to keep ticking boxes.) |

Offline | Was debating the 57/08 plate with regards to future resale, but its never going to make enough difference to me to warrant waiting an extra couple of weeks ![]() Only get upgraded to the leather wheel as part of the Pepper pack. I have had MFSWs in previous cars and hardly used them so thought I'd save a couple of hundred. I originally was looking at the D hatchback and ended up going for the Clubman, leaving me with less to spend on toys than expected ![]() |

Offline | New Headlights on my 02 MC Hi! I,m a new member and I was recently assigned a 2002 MC. I am trying to find out if the after market projector-halo headlights that are offered on ebay (attached) would fit well or would the 2006 headlights match better? Thanks! |

Offline | Hi all - I have defected from the VW Forum (www.mytreg.com • Index page) where I have lived for the last 4 years...... I have ordered a Lightning Blue/Silver Clubman D with all the electrical gizmo options (c.£21k) for March 1st. I have also bought a number plate for it:- CL08MEN (well its as close as I could get to CLUBMAN). Have also got a factory visit Feb 1st courtesy of Derek on this Forum (very many thanks to him!!). I am in a loan Cooper D till mine arrives - its doing 57mpg which is double what I used to get (and doing 25k per year was getting pricey ~ £100 a week in fuel). Even managed 94.4mpg one morning commuting to work over 20 motorway miles, slipstreaming a 56mph lorry !!!) Get used to having me around....I have no real friends !!!! ![]() ![]() Lightning Blue & Silver Clubman D being built for March 1st. |
