Offline | Yeah, I saw that when looking at your profile - should have done that first, but I'm not used to posing at all, so it'll take a while to get used to things. Only two more days to go.... tic toc |

| MINI2 Regular | just a thought - some of the guests may not be humans, but web crawlers. Or are they filtered? But all human guests should definitely join, it's fun, even if you don't post very often (I don't...) still waiting.. for a better time |

Offline | OK, you talked me into it Hello, all you happy Mini-motorists! I've read your useful and friendly posts for several months now, and this thread has politely shamed me into actually registering. I've admired Minis for over 10 years, since I saw my first one in Cornwall when on holiday. Only recently did I realise they'd been re-made for sale, and I started searching for one "just to test-drive" - I said. Yeah - right - you can't just test-drive these things - they have to come home with you. So, fortunately my very tall husband can fit into the car and happily drive it, otherwise I would have had a hard time talking him into it. Plus, it was a good deal, being only a year old. So - we have a 2003 Silk Green Mini Cooper, Black roof - with sunroof, and several other odd bits of gadgetry I've not worked out yet. Everyone who sees it asks about where we got it and if we like it. I've seen about 6 different Minis around my part of town so far, so they are catching on. - - - - - however, not everybody here gets the concept of the "Mini wave". It's fun when they do, though. No, I haven't named my car - or figured out a gender. But it is still loved. -littlegreenthing |

| MINI2 Newbie | Hello Everyone! Just registered. ![]() I've been looking around here for a few months now. After years of whaiting, I got my dark silver/white MCS about a month and a half ago (2005 built, bought it as 9months old with 28000km in it). Will post specs and pic later. -attila |

Offline | KPKalle Here's the spec I'm thinking of: Cooper S Space Blue Checkmate Package (DSC, 17" Flame Spoke Wheels, Anthracite Headliner, Silver Roof & Mirror Caps, Front & Rear Foglights, Checkmate Interior) Premium Package (Chrome Line Interior, Sunroof, Auto Dimming Mirror, Rain Sensing Wipers, Heated Seats) HK Stereo Package MFSW, Xenons, heated windhield washers, heated mirrors are standard in Canada And **Maybe** JCW. I'm on the fence with that one. I like the fact that it'd be under warranty, and there's almost no chance that I'd do any after market mods after the initial purchase. Oh! And I'll need an iPod adaptor as well. ![]() |
