| Yeah...I know !!! | Here goes New engine (well one with 8000miles on) 15% Alta reduction Pulley 3% Alta Lightened Crank Pulley Quaife LSD Helix Fast Road Clutch Eibach front and rear anti roll bars Bluefin remap Supersprint Straight Thru Centre Pipe (Ive replaced the Milltek centre pipe) as well as putting my other stuff on PILO Racing Ignition Upgrade (40,000 volt Screamin Deamon Coil Pack, 8.5mm Plug Wires and U-grove ACCEL Spark Plugs) Alta Air Intake JCW injectors New Front Bumper Ive still got to put me Brakes , Oz Superleggeras and me Coilovers on yet Ill do that this weekend ![]() |

| Yeah...I know !!! | Ive spoken to alot of people about why my cam snapped including JCW and even Randy Webb and GGR They all say that having a 15% reduction pulley will not cause the cam to snap, i spoke to JCW and they use standard camshafts on the Works kit. No matter what i had done to my car everyone says that the cam snapping has nothing to do with it. The car has done 48000 miles , 42000 with the GGR conversion Someone says excess heat could cause it to snap , others say a seized bearing could also cause it to snap , some say a faulty cam , i could spend money to try and find out why it snapped but to what result? I think it was just one of those things ![]() ![]() |

![]() Making Noise!! | On loan throttle body Ah well, i suppose it had to come to an end sooner or later. TBH i dont think i will miss it, i mean i know its given me more power, and a nice noise, but still not worth that much money IMO. I will cya on sunday Dunc! We can go for that noise record! Offline | It could be excess heat. One of the reasons the JCW kit has the inlet ports/exhaust ports CNC machined is to help with dissipating the heat. Global Moderator ![]() |
