Hey Guys,
Just writing to ask about the waiting lists. Passed my test today!! and was wondering how long i will have to wait to get my hands on a new COOPER??
can anyone help??
Congrats on passing your test Check with your dealer re. the wait time because it can vary. For me, I had to wait about 2½ months from order to delivery.
your best thing is to ask around the different dealers seb, some dealers have more build slots than others!!
I'vw just ordered a new MCS and delivery time is 4-6weeks, i remember that they had lots lots more build slots for coopers though so the waiting time shouldn't be too bad for ya!!
I ordered my MINI Cooper Park Lane on 4th March. I have had an email from the dealer this morning telling me that it should arrive at the dealers next week. So just over a month for me.
I got my car 1 week after ordering it because the dealer had been allocated 3 for showroom/demo use but only needed one. It depends if you are flexible on the spec or not really
Was quoted 12 weeks when I enquired, but when I came to order (after sorting out the finances) it had gone up to 13 weeks from order, then a week before delivery it was put back 2 weeks, meaning I had a whole weeks holidays wasted (couldnt change them that late) that I was going to go out n play in her!
I counted days, hours and minutes while waiting,. read the print off the brochures, read the forums like a lunatic, anything at all I could do to keep sane until she arrived! Have to have gone back to the dealers for a lookaround at least 6 or 7 times in the waiting period, anyone would think I was a MINI obsessive! Lol!
Have to say tho that after finally getting her the pain of the wait disappears quickly, you are having too much fun to remember all the pain of the wait!!
