Offline | Where does your MINI live? I'm awaiting the arrival of my new MINI (completed Apr 11) and I'm trying to make some decisions... Do most of you house your MINIs in a garage, or just on the street/driveway. Preparing my garage to actually house a car will take some doing, so I'm trying to decide if it's worth the trouble (though my guess is that it probably is). Any thoughts from you wise ones? :-) ![]() |

Offline | I will be putting mine in a garage. Firstly, because of peace of mind because you never know what might happen to a car if it's on the road. Secondly, because it keeps the weather off it, so on those frosty mornings when everyone's scrappy their cars, I open the garage, start the engine and off I go! ![]() |

Offline | Just moved house; previously was housed in a garage, now under a carport. Was considering leaving it on the driveway but just had bad experience with very acidic bird crap that ate through my clearcoat. Dealer polished it out, but enough to put me off parking in the great outdoors for a while, esp. during berry season. |

| MINI2 Senior | hello 100% garage. It is well worth it. i've had my mini now 18months and it has only been left outside 4 times. once was in the staff car park. it also gives me piece of mind at night knowing people aren't looking at it to try and knick it. Enjoy your mini adventure |

Offline | I built a 2 car garage just for the new Mini. I have a 160 Acre farm, but just keeping cats, moose, deer etc away from the mini gives me peace of mind, as well as the weather factor. I feel bad for you people that live in areas where building a garage isn't possible. I don't think I would have one decent nights sleep worrying about Mini ![]() |
