I'm awaiting the arrival of my new MINI (completed Apr 11) and I'm trying to make some decisions...
Do most of you house your MINIs in a garage, or just on the street/driveway. Preparing my garage to actually house a car will take some doing, so I'm trying to decide if it's worth the trouble (though my guess is that it probably is). Any thoughts from you wise ones? :-)
I will be putting mine in a garage. Firstly, because of peace of mind because you never know what might happen to a car if it's on the road. Secondly, because it keeps the weather off it, so on those frosty mornings when everyone's scrappy their cars, I open the garage, start the engine and off I go!
would put my mini in a garage if I had one. But my mom thinks the car need the garage more than my mini does Sooo.. It's parked in a parking lot which is close to my house
I just got through looking at lofts in the city today and one of my requirements was that they have covered parking for the mini yes, the car's dwelling was as important as my own. Sad, really.
Just moved house; previously was housed in a garage, now under a carport. Was considering leaving it on the driveway but just had bad experience with very acidic bird crap that ate through my clearcoat. Dealer polished it out, but enough to put me off parking in the great outdoors for a while, esp. during berry season.
Currently parked under the canopy next to the hot tub... and he loves the warmth! Once the weather improves a portable garage will go up for him to call home.

Carport, attached to garages, next to my mums porsche! With a metal sign on wall saying "Mini parking only, all overs will the crushed" Its got taste when it comes to its neighbours
Mine is kept in a garage, Which seems to be the safest place, As there was two new mini`s and a classic written off last week and have now heard another new mini has had a accident with slight damage.
My MINIs used to live on the street, since we've moved my latest S has always been spoiled and lives in a garage (or driveway under a CCTV camera if I'm feeling lazy).
