Well Summers nearly here with those long hazy days and all them dry (clean) winding roads with glorious sunsets over the horizon.
So lets not forget how far we have come since the frost in October, the gale force storms in November, the torential rain in December, the fog in January, the sunshine.........yes sunshine in february and the snow in March .
Its now April, May is round the corner and before you know it we will all be in druids outfits chanting and dancing round stone henge on the glorious 21st June.
Then.........its all down hill from there the roads are packed mid July with holiday makers , its bound to pour down in August , we will bask in a 90 degree indian summer in September but by then we will all be fed up and not care.
So remember the good times you have with your loved one she/he deserves attention all year round.
What was your favourite month?
M4NDA and mine are all good
Remember a MINI is not just for YOUR good days a MINI is for life

The winter was ok up here, attached is a pic of my old Mini OneD just before I swapped him for my new One Convertible.
I've got to say April is my favourite month so far, this weekend in fact, as I've had two long days out driving around the beautiful countryside with the top down all day - the best part of Mini ownership

In this part of Mexico there are only two seasons: Spring and Summer...
It's been dry since September. October began and the fans were finally off during the nights, and what gorgeous nights they were. November and December were dry and beautiful! January was slightly cold but sunny, definitely my favourite month. February was unusually hot and a bit windy. March was nice again, not too warm although still extremely windy! Now April is here, and the extreme heat arrived; there have been days when the thermometer has already reached 33° C!!!
As I write this post, it's beginning to rain, the first rain of the year and completely out of the ordinary! It's a weird day: on the West you can see the Sun setting, on the East a dark grey sky and a rainbow!!!
May and June are usually the hottest months in this part of Mexico. We're expecting heat in the low 40°s!!! At the end of June the rain season begins and the heat diminishes. If you like thunderstorms, then July and August are the months to enjoy them!...And then comes September, and it's fabulous all over again!
never lived before in a place that gets snow, so i had to learn to drive in snow this winter. i'm still trying to figure out how to get the road salt off my car ... it gets kicked up even now! my poor plastic parts of the car are white!
now we're in twister season. never had those before either. had golf-ball sized hail twice already. bah. don't know why people decided to live in such inhospitable places.
so I'm ready for summer. apparently the weather isn't atrocious in summer. *crosses fingers* heat's no problem. just hate snow, hail and twisters.
Winter? What winter? We had one freeze the entire year. Then in only just got below freezing. Y'all come down to Texas during late July and August. I will be glad to show you a real summer.
Well Ingrid I think you beat everyone hands down with that dump of snow
I cant imagine you drivining in that even with winter tyres, maybe if you could fit skis to your little baby?
Anyway I hope she was wrapped up well there?
Nice to hear from so many different countries, some of you really are the envy of us Brits with your gorgious weather, yet we still have more cabrios than the rest of europe (not sure about the world )
Well, the classic mini has hibernated all winter (lets face it we all know they rust like hell in the salty conditions) and as the summer has come out, I`ve bought a new MCS.
Can`t wait for the summer, driving up into the dales with the dogs in the back, stopping at a random river for a swim and maybe a few potatoes on the fire.
I hate the UK during the winter, but I love it when we get a good summer, evreything seems to work better and easier.
Winter? what WINTER? my little MINI has been tucked up in bed since last October with the odd waxing and tittilation The first time he ventured out was yesterday for a nice run and to clear the cobwebs and snails from up the exhaust pipe His name was Basil but I'am thinking of changing it to George off Blue Peter, seeming he is now officially out of hibernation
