MINI2

Hey! I know that the pics were released a while ago. But it's prom time and I have always been a die hard mini fan. I saw on another post sometime ago that someone asked if you could rent a Mini Limo. I was wondering if anyone knew if that was possible? The only problem is that I'm not in Europe, so we don't have access to the major mini dealers? Does anyone thing that there is a chance of me being able to rent one? Thanks

Hi there

As far as i am aware, only two limo mini's were ever made by a guy in the US whom also made the double headed mini and Limocopter (a US airforce helicopter on a bus chasis).

1 went to europe and i think the other went on a tour of the US.

All i know was the guy whom made them had a show called the customiser (or some variation of spelling). Hope that helps

There's this one: http://www.mini2.com/article255-roll...mini-limo.html and a dark silver one also (I can't find the pictures, but they're on here somewhere) that are the official "MINI XXL" MINIs. I know there's a place in the UK you can hire a stretch MINI from, not heard of any in the US so far though.

They were built by Vinnie "Big Daddy" Bergeman, who runs Ultracoach builders in California. The Show was called the Kustomizer, i only know this because i happend to catch the show where he built the double header MINI. I recorded it but have no way at the moment to get it in the PC. That episode also featured a few bits on the limo MINIs as well

P.S They look nice in photos, but I thought at MINI United the Red XXL was looking VERY tired and a bit shabby.
