One D Facelift

I've not seen very many of these but i have noticed that the facelift oneD gets the pre facelift bumpers on it, its got the new head lights and rear lights etc, just the old style bumpers which do look good on it but i was woundering if this was just a couple of cars in the area or are all the one D's like that??

every face lifted One D i've seen are all like that, i'm sure there must be a reason they couldn't use the new bumpers, might be because the One D front bumper is a slightly different design and they didn't want to re-tool.

actually i think i've worked it out, but not sure

on the one d's there is noo cut out for the exhaust on the trim, but the faclift black trim is different and so to speak makes a feature of the exhaust (IMO) so you'd of thought they would just clip the pre facelift trim on but the alignment of clips are also different, this is what i think it is anyway

Thats about right, i work for a large car company and its the same for us, why go to the expense of making a new part when theres one we can "adapt"
