I know we all love cleaning our beloved Minis, and with winter out of the way at least the tailgates are going to stay clean! However, we now have the annual problem of cleaning dead bugs off the front of the car. I'm sure you agree that this is a pain so why not have some fun with it...
Lets have a competition to see who can get the most bugs on their cars! I've just done a 640 mile round trip between Derby and Stirling on two of the hottest days so far this year and hammered a fair number of bugs... see if you can beat me and attach you photos!
My personal record was driving back from Barcelona to Hereford in my A4 in 17 hours in the middle of June - I wish I'd taken a photo, but by midnight when we got back, the number plate was unreadable!! It took two goes with the local Safeway pressure washer to remove the bodies from the front of the car.
Actually, it was cheating; when my car went on the transporter, it was the one at the front on the top deck and it was reversed on
Come to thing of it, I'd hate to have reversed it up there myself AND had to guess when it was time to stop I hadn't thought of that before, doesn't bear thinking about really

Well, they told me I won the award for "Most Bugs" when I was at the Tail of the Dragon in 2004. (Photo by AC, because the bugs turned out better in his photo than mine.) Or, as Jen said "Your car looks like a crime scene!"
Was out in the Wagon delivering on Thursday and was killing loads of bugs one hit the screen infront of me it left a mark about the size of my hand in yellow eeeuuukk
