I waved at about 16 minis on my way from Sheffield to Harrogate yesterday and not one waved back . On the way back home I decided in a huff not to wave at any Minis so apologies to the one Orange Mini Convertible that waved at me yesterday teatime, you had already gone past before I realized.

MCS JCW EB/B 210 Bhp lots of extras!

With you on mini drivers not waving. Since I picked up my MCS on 1st MArch I ahve not had a single wave and don't remember getting a wave or flash in the last few months of ownership of my Cooper either. Givne my MCS is brand new on an 05 plate I find it odd that I ahve not had a single wave - I always kept an eye out for brand new mini's on the road as when you first pick up your car you are so excited by it you want to wave at people and them wave at you. There are a couple of mini's I see nearly every day ont he way into work and never once had a wave.

Come on mini people - give us a wave!!

I find that less people are flashing hooting and waving, but more people give a kind of respectful nod at the driver. At least the acknowledgment is still there. However I am a committed waver and part-time flasher.

Careful, that might land you in trouble with the law

I'm with you though, I always flash if I can, or wave - most people scowl at me though. Mostly middle aged women in their forties who think they are too good for it

I see myself as a "potential flasher" and can only condone if not promote such naughty antics (just watch those truck drivers sitting hi up in their cabs if u r flashing LOL)

Oi, I'm a woman who is 42 and I am NOT middle aged.
I'm not dull, staid, boring, past it, frumpy or too good for waving.

And by the way, I have found that younger women drivers don't wave (but then I'm not a cool young bloke so that explains it).

I agree with all you say.......more or less on the age too I wave at every one and flash at every opportunity The younger ladies and men look at me like I am nuts, they ain't far wrong there, if I say hello

I best be careful though, the last time I agreed with you I got in trouble.......PMSL

04 Pepper white with purple, yes purple viper stripes....not sure if it was a company car with the name on the side too in Page Street Mill Hill about 3.30pm.
You were flashed by 2 ladies with very BIG red hair....you may have been too shocked to have flashed back

The opposite is true for me, I get completely ignored by *ahem* more mature ladies and waves off of younger peeps.
