Offline |  Formby Took a trip out to Formby beach on Wed to make the most out of the weather, it was rude not to as I'm Liverpool, so not far at all! On the way over I saw a rather nice flip paint MINI, sporting a fully colour coded aero kit. It had two girls in the front, but I cant remember if it was a Cooper or a 'S'.  Didn't get the reg, but I thought such a distinctive car would probs be on here.  As a side note, Formby was great I don't think I have seen so many huge houses in one area as you get closer to the beach.  Regards, James. |

Offline | Hi Saad, sorry its taken me ages to reply. Its because I have only just got round to catching up on this thread. Uni work has been taking its toll, but thankfully I have finished for good now and can enjoy the summer! It wasn't me I'm afraid. It would have been my first spotted in Liverpool too!! My car lives at home in the Lakes whilst I'm down here. I have never seen that other MINI tho, so I will keep my eyes peeled. My reg starts with R99, so should be easy to tell me apart from the other one! I will be down in the car lots over the next few weeks, so keep an eye out! |

Offline | Martini Cooper S Pretty much certain I have seen that car. Or someone who has a very similar looking one. I posted about it in this thread ages ago, but at the time nobody replied. Although it was nowhere near Sheffield, so it might have been the previous owner. It was near Beetham, which is a small village just off the A6 between Kendal and Carnforth, on the Lancashire/Cumbria border. Ring any bells? |

Offline | I never noticed a change when I stuck my letters on, they are really really lightweight. I did have a bad weekend a while back though, where I lost about 4 of them off one wheel after going on some quick roads I think the weight of them is balanced out anyway by all the brake dust and muck on the wheels Yeahh, I noticed your plate Very smart, makes your motor stand out even more! I'll know what to look out for now |
