No waves for me today, in fact didn't see many MINIs at all, but when I was filling up at Morrisons in Boroughbridge this afternoon an elderly gent said what a lovely car I had - made my day   |

Offline  | Many thanks for the kind words everyone, yesterday passed in a blur of tears and sobs, but I know Willow and Lady both had the best home and best care they could have had. We went to the Cheshire Dogs Home yesterday, sorted out with the manager that we could have another dog, this one for free, but they had nothing in the kennels that was of the right size or that didnt remind us of Willow or Lady, so after picking my daughter up from my ex's we went to the other branch (in Manchester). They had a large selection of animals available, and although a part of us both felt it too soon after loosing Willow there was such a lovely dog there waiting for us that we ended up bringing her home with us! Her name is Belladonna, or Bella for short (they had named her Millie, but shes too big to be a Millie), and she looks like a Great Dane / Rotty cross, found in High Peak 2 weeks ago, and is rather on the large size! Very calm, very trusting and relaxed, no lumps, bumps or broken teeth, and obedient to boot, plus shes just started talking to us, sounds like Chewbacca from the Star Wars movies! Think she is gonna be a daddys girl tho, like Lady was, whereas Willow was definitely a mummys girl! I'll post some piccies of Willow and Bella into my gallery when I get a chance later on! |
