Offline | I agree with Jon, may as well contain it within one post and if you don't read it then take it out of subscribed threads? Could however have a spotted 'section' and have a thread for different counties? May be more relevant to people and let them know more efficiently if they have been spotted!! ![]() |

Offline | Replies in this thread, 5,500. Replies in S Speccin, nigh on 70,000 Replies in Northern Exiles banter thread 60,000 Replies in NW banter thread 30,000 I think there's a few threads to clear up before this one gets touched. And for the record, I'm not saying we should get rid of those threads at all, just if you're complaining about waste of space/bandwidth this is hardly the first thread to complain about. |

| Hmmmmm | I think with the amount of Minis on the roads, the answer to "Was it you?" is "Probably not". I'd love to know the percentage of people's cars that get mentioned on here that are not part of this, or any other internet forum and would never see a reference to their car on here in a million years... ![]() Maybe I'm just bitter with the whole Mini thing after having nothing but grief since I got my '08 and now its in a smashed up mess at a bodyshop after being clobbered by (large) White Van Man. So, if anyone saw an 08 JCW 'S' (Mellow Yellow with black vipers) on the back of a recovery van, heading from Worcester to Oldbury yesterday afternoon then, it was mine... 1988 Mini 'Designer' & 2008 MINI Cooper 'S' Works |

Offline | I like the threads with a bit of history - it's easy enough just to go the end of the thread, so why a problem? . I think a "being spotted" thread will only work if it's all in one place - perhaps segregated by country, but the challenge is to get spotted somewhere . I never have been yet, but will keep trying. I need to get better at remembering the Minis I see (and do wave at!) en route and can then more helpfully post here. Please keep an eye out for my Sparkling Silver Sidewalk - topless whenever it's not raining! I'm finding all this sunny weather a bit too hot because I'm more used to having the roof down when it's more bracing than burning. ![]() |
