anyone familiar with oxford traffic lights?

I hate driving in Oxford; you can loose you licence just driving close. There are hidden cameras everywhere that take your picture if you drive in particular lanes between 4pm and 4:30pm, or if your car develops more than 80bhp, or if you have no passengers, or if you have air con switched on and therefore you're wasting petrol. There's also a separate highway code for Oxford and basically cyclists have the right of way over everyone, although cyclists don't have to wear helmets. Oh dear am I neurotic?

those cameras do flash, i think your thinking of the one outside Thornhill. that flashes and ive seen it do it loads - sitting on the park and ride bus they do cacth you when the light turns red.
