where are all the MINI staff on here?

There used to be a time that there would be a few known dealers that would post on here, helping people out and of course learning lots of stuff too.

So where are they? Who is a new dealer?

Are there any just lurking?

Come on say hello, tell us who you are, and where you are, you don't have to name the dealership

Some of us might have questions to ask, or just simply want to get to know you a bit more

To be honest I think that active participation on here is frowned upon and some dealers even block MINI2.

There is just one moon and one golden sun; And a smile mean friendship to ev'ryone; Through the mountains divide, and the oceans are wide; It's a small world after all.

But BMW do use MINI2 for R&D though. They told us when we went on one of the early factory tours.

It was acceptable in the 80's

What do you mean by block MINI2.com?.
I had my last service at Damen Hill, Warwick and they have got Internet access, no problem accessing mini2.com from there, if thats what you mean? Or do you mean the dealers themselves are not allowed to access this site from the dealership?

I do know that alot of mini dealers don't recognise mini2.com. It's more like don't like mini2.com, maybe they think were a bunch of trouble makers. Probably because we all help each other out(advice etc) on issues/faults. For example, I am on my 3rd roof. I don't think I would have got a 3rd roof or alot of the other issues sorted if mini2.com didn't exist .

Hi,

I'm the MINI Manager for Kevin O' Leary MINI, in Cork, Southern Ireland. Been on MINI2 for the last 3 years or so, and while it's not frowned upon, many Dealers prefer to stay anonymous on here just engaging in playful banter.

It's a great tool for us to see how our Dealerships are performing in *your* eyes, and if you know we're posting in the threads about ourselves, it could potentially make you withhold true feelings, and that's not what MINI is about. We want cold hard facts on how we're doing, and if we're making mistakes, we can learn from them and progress.

It's you guys who pay our wages at the end of the day, and it's you guys who make MINI what a great brand it is. Long may it continue :-)

Owen.

I do pop in there every now and then - you guys look after my pepper white cooper S (black scoop).

There is another M2'er on here who works at your place too but you probably know that.

If you fancy pm'ing me your name I'll keep a look-out for you when I next pop in. There is something I'm interested in.

My Dealer Radford, now Knights in Stafford look on here or used to.
I know when they saw my good feedback of the new MCS purchase experience and sent me a thankyou card.
i've since had good aftersales too and a no quiblle warranty claim, so i think credit where its due, and they should look here for valuable customer service feedback and a good guide on problems that we are having as owners - which they can help resolve for future good sales and customers coming back again.

Hi,

I got my first mini from DW and I've been hooked ever since. The service and sales there have always been brilliant. I have found an equal here in Aus but I think I have been very lucky.
