To be honest I think that active participation on here is frowned upon and some dealers even block MINI2.
There is just one moon and one golden sun; And a smile mean friendship to ev'ryone; Through the mountains divide, and the oceans are wide; It's a small world after all.
What do you mean by block MINI2.com?.
I had my last service at Damen Hill, Warwick and they have got Internet access, no problem accessing mini2.com from there, if thats what you mean? Or do you mean the dealers themselves are not allowed to access this site from the dealership?
I do know that alot of mini dealers don't recognise mini2.com. It's more like don't like mini2.com, maybe they think were a bunch of trouble makers. Probably because we all help each other out(advice etc) on issues/faults. For example, I am on my 3rd roof. I don't think I would have got a 3rd roof or alot of the other issues sorted if mini2.com didn't exist .
Hi i work at Derek Woodman MINI in Blackpool and regularly access this site for news and views and find a lot of worthwile subjects on here.Whilst I work full time in service throughout the day,I do try and access the site on a a daily basis. If anyone needs advice or pricing/deals I will try and help.
I'm the MINI Manager for Kevin O' Leary MINI, in Cork, Southern Ireland. Been on MINI2 for the last 3 years or so, and while it's not frowned upon, many Dealers prefer to stay anonymous on here just engaging in playful banter.
It's a great tool for us to see how our Dealerships are performing in *your* eyes, and if you know we're posting in the threads about ourselves, it could potentially make you withhold true feelings, and that's not what MINI is about. We want cold hard facts on how we're doing, and if we're making mistakes, we can learn from them and progress.
It's you guys who pay our wages at the end of the day, and it's you guys who make MINI what a great brand it is. Long may it continue :-)
My Dealer Radford, now Knights in Stafford look on here or used to.
I know when they saw my good feedback of the new MCS purchase experience and sent me a thankyou card.
i've since had good aftersales too and a no quiblle warranty claim, so i think credit where its due, and they should look here for valuable customer service feedback and a good guide on problems that we are having as owners - which they can help resolve for future good sales and customers coming back again.
Derek Woodman always looked after me Bought my second MINI from Darren before he moved to BMW. Its just a bit far to go for servcing now i know of Bowker in Preston
I got my first mini from DW and I've been hooked ever since. The service and sales there have always been brilliant. I have found an equal here in Aus but I think I have been very lucky.
