Well Just informed by the Mini folks that my car was picked up sunday by car carrier enroute to Memphis.
That means that the car arrived Friday evening at the VDC, processed Saturday, and picked up by carrier on sunday. Fast turn around I say.
Seems that all the time is basically transportation...or waiting for transportation...

Arrived in port at Charleston 7/24

called MINIUSA this morning & they said it was on a carrier headed to the dealer. (website still says at VPC) Called the dealer & he said they have 3 cars that just arrived but haven't been checked in, so hopefully one of them is mine & I can pick it up tomorrow or Wed!!!

Mine hasn't left the VPC yet, but "might" catch a truck this afternoon. He said I was looking at Tuesday, Wednesday, or THURSDAY delivery. The wait is getting to me pretty bad now.

Know the feeling, found out today that my car will be leaving the VPC today or tomorrow. Then I still have to wait for the MSO to arrive. Maybe I'll have it this weekend... maybe not?

Mine hit the US three weeks ago. Took 1 week to get to VDC, and is still there. MINIUSA emailed me to say no change in status. Must have gotten damaged.

I just called to make sure things were going smoothly.

It seems that mine was supposed to arrive on Saturday, but it was held up somewhere. They have issued a work order, so they will take at least another day in processing.

The only possible advantage is my dealer's location. It only takes 3 hrs drive.

I think I'm gonna set my expectations on Thursday delivery. ugggggghhhhhh!

God bud, I'm sorry to hear that! That is very frustrating to hear. I know you've waited a long time for your MINI and even if you didn't a new car is a new car and shouldn't have any defects!
I'm having nightmares that the same thing will happen to my car, but that's just anxiety I guess? Is it possible that your dealer could get you another car, or repair these defects? I'm sure they'll want to do something to fix these problems!?

I just checked with MINIUSA today and my car was released to carrier today. Quoted sometime this week for delivery. After a year of waiting, I would be majorly ****ed off if my car was defective - I already ordered $500 custom clear bra kit for my new car. Now, I am thinking of waiting before installing the clear bra to make sure my car is trouble-free.

I was all excited, but mine has just now hit the VDC. Looks like at least a couple of more days wait. I'm wondering if mine was dropped by the crane on its way to the boat.....

I just received a call from my dealer that my "Chiyo" has arrived!

Arranged for a pick up at 1600 tomorrow - already ordered $500 custom clear bra from armourfend.
I am going to wait few days to make sure that my car is not a lemon, then I will install the bra kit. I will post and let all know how that goes.

I've been stuck in the VPC since 7/22. Projected delivery date was 8/1, but now MINIUSA has no estimate.. not very happy.
