Offline | I'm selling my MINI after 4 1/2 years! Hi guys. Some of you will know me of old as I used to be a regular on here. My life has been so busy over the last few years that I haven’t been on here much, but I have been lurking! Anyway, just thought I’d let you know my trusty Pure Silver Cooper I have had since 2002 is finally being sold. Thought it was time for her to move on. Still looks great, still drives great but I fancied a change. I have looked at the new Astra, Mazda RX8, Ford Focus RS even a second hand M3! but I just can’t find anything I like!! So I am getting another MINI!! I am moving (finally) up to an “S”! I spec’d a good one at my dealers. All black with Aero kit, chilli MFSW, auto aircon and stuff and I was going to place the order this Friday. Due to be here in September……….. ........but….. ………..the dealer phoned yesterday and he said he has had a great “S” brought in second hand that he thought I should look at! Registered and bought from them in Feb 2006, and only 2000 miles on the clock!! But this is the thing. It’s a Works S!! Look at this spec! Dark Silver (inc roof). Silver viper stripes Aero kit Chilli Pack 17” Bullet star alloys JCW Works kit Recaro heated leather sports seats Leather rear seats JCW brake kit Harmon Kardon sound system MFSW Single CD player Chrono package Auto Aircon Visibility package Interior chrome package TLC All this for £800 more than the new “S” I had spec’d! The owner had bought it as a “weekend toy” but decided he needed something bigger! He just wasn’t using it so it was at a “special” price to sell!!! Talk about being at the right place at the right time!! Good job I believe in fate! Went to look at her last night. Did I buy it? I pick her up on the 28th!! I'm having the CD changer and the mini disk player swopped over from my Cooper for free also! I am hopefully bringing her on the Chilterns run! ![]() Last edited by R1 : Jul 19th, 2006 at 11:56 AM. | The Power Cube | Nice ! I like that!! Good move. You'll have great fun. I bet you feel very lucky. I know how i felt when i got my Works S. It was marvelous!!!!!! Watch out for clocking up those miles though, and the petrol costs will rise three fold, not becuase of mpg but becuase of the pure miles you'll dirve!!! ENJOY ! ![]() ![]() Too many mods to list, PM me if the cat needs killing... |
