Red Cooper If you could take your MINI on holiday, where would you go??

Just a thought, as I'm already planning on next year's holiday maybe an all american driving tour, I would love to drive my Mini all over the world but I know it would not be feasible practically and financially,

however it would be amazing to take it through the Grand Canyon,

or through the Australian outback (some of you guys probably done this)

Where on the planet would you particularly like to drive your Mini ?

Hmm I have not thought about this at all, but here is mine,

Purchase MINI in the UK, do the UK and Europe for about 3 months, visiting the Ring

Then ship the UK MINI to the USA go to the Dragon, and do a American summer road trip thing, ie car land on the West coast it need to leave on the East coast, going via the Rockies up in Canada. Then ship the UK MINI to New Zealand (tax reasons) Drive about New Zealand for about a month.

Then finally ship the UK MINI to Oz (swap the UK rego for OZ rego) to do the Great Ocean road then drive home. Would take about 12 months to do

Would love to do all of the UK runs, including the charity ball... and of course, the Ring , and then through the US for Minis on the Dragon, and a run through the canyons would be brilliant

I'd love to drive mine in a German autobahn, in France's Mediterranean coast and also in one of those beautiful twisty roads in Switzerland!

Oh! And I would certainly prepare a couple of CDs to listen to while in those places! For the German tour, I would chose an eclectic mix of Beethoven and vintage Kraftwerk. For France it would be some Serge Gainsbourg, some Debussy and maybe some majestic French baroque music. And for Switzerland, I'd chose Wagner, Moby, Dead Can Dance and maybe some Pink Floyd too!

My Mum moved from UK to Corfu 3 years ago, and we are planning at some stage to drive over to see her, the plan is through France to the Alps, then down through Italy to Brindissi and then ferry to Corfu. Mum did the reverse trip in 25 hours, but we are planning on taking our time and enjoying the run! Think we will defo have to visit some of the Itallian Job locations on the way! All we need now is to save some dosh up to pay for it, not easy atm, but things should improve in a year or two financially!

I've voted Europe and North America.

Europe because you can get from one country to another relatively quickly and see so much in a couple of weeks.

But I'd love to take my MINI to North America, especially California and drive around San Francisco, then down to Las Vegas and the Grand Canyon.

id choose europe aswell, you can through extremes in the weather aswell as so many different cultures in a relatively small travelling space (compared to others.)

oz would be my second choice, but i dont like kangaroos and reptilians so id have to stick with sydney or melbourne
