So the story is, we went to the dealer to look at used Mini Cooper S's and i came away with a brand new Checkmate Cooper S !!!
I dont know how it happened !!

So what do you think ? Am i mad ?? Do you guys think its agood move ??
I traded my 3 year old Works Cooper in for it. Got good price.

But - i have a personal plate on mine and dont know if to let it go with car, or sell it ??
Would it be wroth anything ???

don't bother with the plate as it wont match the new checkmate.

If you want it they charge you about £80 to transfer nowadays.

nah, wont take it onto check mate !
But didnt know if worth keeping and trying to sell it myself ??
Just not sure if it would sell - would be stuck with it ??????

I just left my plate "M2 OOH" on my Series 3 cabrio when I sold it. Couldnt be bothered with the hassle of transfer, and then getting another reg for the Series 3 etc etc etc.

Keep the palte. In six months time, when you want 'MORE POWER', the plate will look goos on your Checkmate Cooper S Works....

I did test drive a Works 210, absolutly fantastic !!

Think I may leave plate with car, now i have to find a plate for a Checkmate.

Well, its for sale, although its actually 'Sale Agreed', but money hasnt changed hands yet.... so, come up with a quick £15.5k and its yours...
