do you think they might be trying to mask the true power output? i seem to remember the current car's official power figures being lower than what was actually being acheived, giving people a sense that the car was quicker than it actually was

No, that's just the way they seem to do it (BMW). The current range of cars often read over the stated figures, and the new ones will most likely do the same. We'll have to wait to get them on the rollers though.

Generally it's just coffee or tea for shows. The beer is saved for special occasions. Except for Todd - he never needs a special occasion
