![]() You can put lipstick on.. | Hi Terry, As Ford are about to offload Jaguar and possibly Land Rover as well, I'm not sure Gaydon will be looking for people at the moment. In fact the whole Ford PAG looks as if its under threat of a sell off. I wish you luck though, thought about changing your outlook and trying something out of automotive ? |

Offline | I thought most of them are adult replies ![]() Friendsreuntied has a work section, and you are bound to find ex-colleagues on there more than on a MINI site. I work for a Pram Company, and we are looking for an Engineering Designer at present, so again serious. Although TBH I don't think one that throws his toys out of prams so easy would be the right man for the job ![]() The only problem I have is knowing which one to drive? ![]() |

Offline | I know that Ford has problems and PAG are losing money, but I didn't know that was a real possibility Is this about to happen, or is it speculation? Who, if anyone, is buying anything in the automotive industry (well, apart from the Chinese, but even they don't seem to be in the market for buying anything other than bankrupt companies for next to nothing).Tigger. ![]() Unintimated and I'm back!! ![]() For sunshine, fun and Cornish Pasties: New MINI Kernow Cornish Oggy Run 2009! |

Offline | Been some media speculation, but as usual, opinion is divided - BBC Breakfast report said decisions could be made while Gaydon is on summer shutdown, but then the industry "expert" they brought in to comment said that he felt it was wrong time - wait until new XK (which can't be made fast enough to keep up with demand, apparently) had a chance to see if sales could be improved. ![]() |

![]() You can put lipstick on.. | sadly the Ford Motor Company has to re focus its business and although the PAG group badged cars do make a fair profit on each car sold, the numbers sold don't support the investment involved. So it looks very much like articles such as this will become daily fare. http://news.independent.co.uk/busine...cle1211349.ece |

Offline | a real shame to see that this could be happening, its almost as if they need someone to come in and do what BMW did for MINI. The only problem I have is knowing which one to drive? ![]() |
