christmas in july!!! pix pix pix !

hello fellow worshippers,

i have received my MINI on july 25 and created a little shrine for it in my (new) gallery.
those pics were taken in the charlevoix area (quebec, canada) on little inroads and along the st-lawrence river.
the beast itself is magnificent, showing no probs, no faults just superb handling and a great motoring comfort zone.
long live MINI, long live MINI2!!!

thanks to all for making this wait more bearable while informing and entertaining.
i'll be back with new suspenders.

i hope i can manage to post a few pics in this thread. if not, please go to my gallery and enjoy beauty and the beast.

good grief, it's a good thing i can handle the car better than the computer.... always pleasant to find a good samaritan on my way

i do take pictures for a living although i usually snap people. i had lots of fun with this new model and you can expect to see lots more of this DS/DS through the seasons as i plan to motor in my spare time...

the pic with the checkered red/white strip was taken in the charlevoix area (quebec) on the road leading to the iles-aux-coudres ferry.

First, that is the first DS/DS I have seen and the photos are fantastic!!!

Second, how did you get an S with the five star wheels?

as for the 5 star wheels, i asked for them when placing my order and had it written up on my contract. later on, my dealer asked 500$ for the switch which i refused to pay as it was included free of charge on my contract. when i threatened to cancel my order if the dealer were not to respect our agreement, he agreed to the switch at no extra cost. little did i know what was involved in switching wheels but that was not my problem as this was agreed to in writing.
i was not flexible at all when it came to the wheels as those were the only ones i cared for. i truly love those 5 stars and probably will have a unique car with them as i doubt anyone else will get them at no extra cost. then again, when you really want something....
