| Amiga 500 to PS3 20 Years | The breakdown cover is part of the warranty so, as long as the warranty runs, the car is covered. If you extend the warranty you also get the breakdown extended. The breakdown is provided by BMW so only covers the vehicle. Generally during the day you will be attended to by a BMW Technician in a 5 series estate with BMW livery. Out of hours they use regular breakdown service provided by Mondial. Basically it's whatever company is nearest and signed up to the Mondial service will be asked to attend. ![]() It was acceptable in the 80's |

Offline | In the You Ess Aaaa... the car is covered for three years and if you're more than 100 miles from home and if they can't get you back home they put you up in a hotel till they can either get you home or get your fixed MINI back to you (and they pay for the hotel and meals) :-) So it's sort of the car & the person. |

| Amiga 500 to PS3 20 Years | Incidently once I had a problem in Cornwall and they sent a guy out who openly admitted he'd never looked under the bonnet of a car with fuel injection. He told me he only usually worked on agricultural equipment. When he looked under the bonnet of the MINI he said he didn't want to touch anything in case he broke something as it looked far too expensive and complicated under the bonnet ![]() ![]() It was acceptable in the 80's |
