Offline | New Mini Garage Sir Being a mini enthusiast most of my life I recently learnt with disappointment and regret that John Cooper Works of East Preston was to close after more than 25 years of tuning, improving and servicing minis of all shapes, ages and sizes. As my car was developed from a standard mini cooper 1.3i to a 1.4Si by the hard working team at JCW I was left in a quandary regarding its future maintenance and any future up-grades when the garage closed. So I was reassured to find that Tony Franks – the head mechanic from John Cooper Works has just set up the Mini Motor Sports Centre at Western Rd Garage in the nearby town of Shoreham on Sea. The centre has just completed the servicing/mot of my classic mini to the same high standard of workmanship that I had come to expect from JCW. I can highly recommend the MMSC for any work that is needed to be done on your mini – old or new, standard or race tuned. You can contact Tony on the following number:- 01273 446666 or e-mail on tony@minimotorsportcentre.com. I hope that this information will be of use to all mini fans across the country. Yours truly, Paul Constant |

Offline | Many thanks for this....There will be a number of JCW owners who used JC Garages that will be happy to learn there might be MINI and Mini JCW mechanics available for them to use. R |
