I haven't had any unreasonable trouble with the car recently. Since I drive it all year round including winter, all the nuts and bolts underneath the car are getting rusty. So, whenever something needs to be done underneath the car it becomes a bit of a pain with the rusted hardware involved.

The engine is still going great. I just got back from a track I have driven on 5 different weekends, and I just set my personal best time.

Here's to many more motoring miles.

It helps when you actually attend rallies Congrats, Jason! Wish Vinny could have stuck around longer. Carry on the Velvet legacy!

Great writeup Jason, It's fun to look back. Of course, you have a few more years to look back on than me...oh and a few more with the car too Why isn't your 100k shot included in your flickr set? It's also interesting to notice how picture quality gets better over time when looking over old albums like that. So..are you sticking around till 200?

The current plan is to get this one paid off first. At that point, it's not going to be worth a whole lot as a trade in, so I'll probably get something new for my daily / winter driver and make the Cooper a track car that's still street legal so I can drive it to track events (and MINI events) and not have to trailer it. But it will become as close to a track only car as I can get away with.

But, I'll probably change my mind before I get to that point.

Congrats Jason!
Great pics (as always) but even more amazing is the number of places that brown took you...

Hi, could you tell me what kind of ipod adaptor that is and how much you bought it for? Does it just plug into your 12V plug? Thanks.

Currently I'm using the Monster Cable iPod power adapter thingy, but there are tons of them out there. Plugs into the lighter socket and powers / charges the iPod. There should be tons of iPod related threads in the interior & ice forum.
