It's where you open the car's windows & sunroof with the remote key as you approach the car. This can be programmed from the standard function of the button which pops open the hatchback.

I have comfort opening it works unlike the hatchback opening function

Opening of the windows and (if fitted) sunroof of the car when you unlock the car from the outside. Can be via the key in the door, or the remote.

Could be your car, Abi's cant have it, and she's not happy.

The car is described as having this as an option, and she can't have it... but I can!

I don't think so. Pressing and holding the open button will give you one or the other.

I could on my MCS. The first button press unlocks the driver door. The second unlocks all the doors including the hatch and the third press opens the windows and sunroof. Or pressing and holding the remote does all three in succession.

The boot will be unlocked but it will not be unlatched with the key. You still have to press the button in the boot handle to get it to open.

The dealer said he'd programmed ours to do this but when we got home and tried it, it was still set to boot opening...
Does this mean our car can't do it, or just that the dealer got it wrong..?

Religion is like a huge dog. If it's yours it's very friendly and comforting, but it scares the heck out of everyone else.

Mine got done yesterday - no problem. My car is a July 02 build. I also had the follow me home lights activated but I haven't checked that yet.

I also asked for window closing via the remote but this was not done. It's probably not allowed in case someones fingers are in there and you can't hear the screams

A second remote key was also programmed so my wife and I now have one each

What is your VIN? Mine is TD54286. Perhaps now I can go to my dealer to get this done... Any idea how Keeler got it done?
