One Month Later...

...and still loving my MINI.
Odometer rolled over 6000kms somewhere in Sask. yesterday and it made me think "thank goodness i didn't lease!"

So far no problems have cropped up and i'm getting closer to having that "Service Interval" down into a four digit number

I'm also glad I didn't lease because I seem to be racking up the km's nearly as fast as you are!

At the end of the month, it will be 3 months that I've had the car (June 29th pickup date), and I just passed 9000km on the weekend. I've also found myself re-checking the manual and the oil dipstick occasionally to convince myself that yes - the oil is still okay, that 15000km service interval is for real. I still have this nagging itch to have it changed before 10,000km - does that make me a worry-wart?

The rate of km accumulation is really slowing down for me though, and I'm thinking that with really relaxed use in the winter, (not as many road trips and I take the bus downtown to work anyway) it will average out to a normal odometer reading for a year.

Of course most of my distance driving is ending at the same time that gas seems a little cheaper.... how about that Husky Super Premium 94 for 95.9/litre?
