Offline | Much better, the centre panel doesn't look cheap when you see it "in person", I guess the close ups make the gaps look big around the buttons when they're not really. That said, I do think they could have been more inventive with that piece. With the Navigation there's more going on there though, so you see less of the back panel. (No cars with satnav were there). |

Offline | Great stuff Paul, you've done us proud! The mystery button is intruiging, what is happening next year then i wonder? Ice cold I/C water spray for the JCW? May be traveller related... who knows! Shame about the yellow S, sure we'll see some press shots floating through soon enough. ![]() |

| Change Is Not Good! | yeah thats one bit of the interior that really bothers me - looks like they just ran out of ideas & stuck a blanking panel on. the current car looks like individual slot in modules & looks much more finished in this area. its a small niggle though as the rest of the interior looks very classy & much more grown up |

Offline | Can you find out from one of the reps there, if when ordering the satnav do you get TWO seperate (smaller) displays over the Stering Wheel like you do now? Or is it just going to be the one, e.g. Rev Counter...? Thanks, StevieB |

Offline | Great work Paul. Very much appreciated. The Chilli Red Cooper is very close to the spec I have ordered so to see one is re-assuring I've spent the money wisely!!!!!! II like the half???(could have been more) leather upholstery as part of the chilli pack. Think the money I will be spending on the ventureshield protection for the front end is money better spent (for me). Would have preferred a leather headrest to be honest as per some photos but I am more than happy with the choices on offer/made. I think the red is very much a 'true' mini colour and isn't prone to fashion fads! Its a look after it carefully and it will stand the test of time sort of colour IMO. Particularly with the chrome - retro looking? On the cream leather - very nice in a showroom - not at all practical in the real World unless its a little used car and you never get wet or dirty. No disrespect to those who like it but I simply couldn't live with it. |

Offline | Probably the lighting on the different materials. The part I thought "clashed" was the seat back parts still in black/dark grey, along with the rear speaker housing. Didn't quit fit. It was nice leather though, the seats are much improved. p.s. Cutting together some more shakey cam footage, this time around and in the MINI Cooper (red) at the show. |

Offline | Fair post Hat it must be good quality leather! Dad had a Williams 3.0 Baccara Laguna with a pale leather - got very dirty - serves him right for having a Renault I suppose. He had a Silver Spur II that didn't do to well either so perhaps its us? Paul - Did the Red Cooper half-leather upholstery look ok close up? |

Offline | The leather (and seats in general) looked and felt nice. It was a shame they've reduced the half leather to maybe quarter leather, but it still looked OK, just a big of a cheap move that one. |
