| MINI2 Senior | No sat nav's shown in the cars you are right. However I'm pretty sure the auto air con was in at least one MCS. Correct me if I'm wrong. |

Offline | Thanks Paul for searching for the 'mystery button'. Also - does anyone know if the new aerokit shown on www.mini.com is available to order as an extra through the parts department yet? |

Offline | That certainly has been the case, but I visited my dealer yesterday to firm up my order specification & they mentioned that the kits will be factory fitted. This probably means less fuss at the dealership & less overall cost, taking into consideration the charges to paint and fit. Still, there'll surely be the option to buy the kit parts separately as a spare / accessory. Pete |

Offline | What do you think the Laser Blue will be like without white stripes? Every one I've seen has white stripes - seems to be the iconic look of the new new Cooper S whereas the previous models advertising never really utilised stripes - last time round they seemed to use stripes on the red cooper and no stripes on electric blue S. This time no stripes really on cooper but stripes on Cooper S (see NEW MINI) |

| MINI2 Newbie | Not sure if its been answered, but there is only one rev counter with the navi... The speedo fits the same way as it does in the models you see at the show but the numbers and actual needle movement are different as the the navi screen sits in the centre (looks really neat and a lot better than the old models - More flush and proper! |

Offline | Full retrospective report from the show here: 2nd October 2006: Report on the Launch of the Second Generation MINI from the Paris Motorshow I'm away from tomorrow early driving the new car, but I hope to answer any unanswered questions when I return from the test drive, but based only what I saw/learned at the show, as there's an embargo of 10th October for my test drive reports. ![]() |

Offline | Hi guys! I'm knackered but got back last night from a weekend in paris! Heres some of my pics that Paul couldn't get. I loved the aero kit Cooper S! It looked unbelieveable Got loads of brochures and none had the cooper S aero kit 17" alloys in so don't know what they are called. But we've got photo evidence now! The aero kit Cooper S had a different spoiler to the normal Laser blue cooper S. It didn't have the mid bar bit in the gap like the normal new cooper S/ You can see in a photo below. (shown in black) The cooper S with aero kit wasn't speced up much at all. It didn't even have the chili pack on it as it didn't have zenons or white indicators. The seats inside were cloth chequered - they were quite nice for the basic seats. The puch leather looked really nice - didn't personally like them in the photos I'd seen of them but in person they were very nice. They were starting to loosen because of all the bums in the seats. Lounge was lush but I think I would prefer the black version. Looked like they were coping better with the stretching effect. The gravity leather in the black cooper what gorgeous. Very light beige and worked very well with the black piano trim and the beige colour line. Some of your questions. The door sills on the yellow cooper S said "your NAME" Personalised door sills. cute! The champange Cooper S on the show had Red lounge leather (which is more russet colour than red) and grey colour line and wood trim. The woods trim looked tacky! It also had Sat Nav and the Sat nav did look amazing. The speedo going round the edge was brill! |
