Offline | The champagne Cooper S did not have the chrome exterior pack. Neither did the Yellow Cooper S and I did think that lookeed better. The larger handle then blends in and doesn't look as large. Sorry I didn't get too many photos as some were covered very well by Paul. Think the sat nav still only had the one rev counter on the steering wheel. It just informed you of more information on the little screen. I think the Champange Cooper S had the storage pack on and the wood panel could move if you pushed it but I couldn't figure out how to get into the behind trim cubby hole. Must be a secret! The mini boot is all carpeted now instead of the plastic which does look better. The silver Cooper had the half leather seats -Ray Red version. The leather had started creasing due to all the peopole sitting in it. After seeing it I'm going for lounge or gravity I think. They don't look as nice as I thought. No blue, yellow or beige ray on the stand. It was so busy on the stand as its quite squeezed in. Overall I really like the new MINI and the finishes were very good. The replacement panel where the wrap around glass used to be is of the same finish as the front A pillar. Its black and shiny and is quite fine (would prefer the old wrap glass though!) Couldn't get to see the new interior light pack. Shame really! But heres some more photos. |

Offline | The punch was just a bit baggy in the bum department when I saw it. Not as bad as I have seen some normal Full leather seats but still stretching a bit. But my Leather sofas do that and return to normal. They just not getting breathing space at the moment I think. The rear aero kit verson spoiler was probably as big as the normal new one and the aero kit version at the moment but its got the gap like the current normal cooper S spoiler but it is slightly raised up so air can flow above it and below through the gap. It looked good and this is what I'm going to get. Looks much nicer than the Spoiler with the extra support piece on the normal new Cooper S. |

Offline | Overall there was 8 MINIS on the stand. Laser Blue Cooper S with Crown spokes, with grey colour line, brushed alloy trim and punch leather. Yellow Cooper S with full aero kit, yellow colour line, chequered trim and chequered cloth seats. No chilli pack. But different grille (black surround instead of chrome), skirts (very much like normal aero skirts), bumpers (very cool!), different spoiler, 17" wheels (still don't know what wheels these are) Black Cooper with white roof and graviy beige leather with piano trim and beige colour line with chrome interior. Red Cooper with white roof, red colour line, silver tirm and red rey half leather. Silver Cooper (didn't look at this one much) Champagne Cooper S with redwood lounge leather, sat nav, grey colour line, wood trim, 17" Web spokes. very cool JCW cooper S convertible Pepper white One Convertible. |

Offline | Nope, Sorry Miss Marmite that was the only one before the camera batteries packed up! Sorry! It did look very nice though. Not sure about the colour combos of the champagne and the red interior but it did look classy. Its a interesting colour and I'm sure it will look different again in the light of day than under the studio lights. |

| Working at MINI Chiswick | Hi Laura, great pics of yellow S I love the aero kit and am trying to see if I could fit another grand into my buget for it I liked the yellow colour line but don't want to like it too much as I can't change my spec now so could'nt have it anyway What did you think of it?![]() |

| MINI2 Newbie | The sat nav has a nice clear display, much easier to navigate around in my opinion. It starts up with the mini logo too which looks nice. All in all looks more flush with the surroundings and the little needle looks great. The audio uses 'MOST' technology, which means if you have CDC, DAB etc you wont be able to fit after market radios... If you can fit after market radios at all for that matter!!! |

Offline | Thanks Laura I was questioning my choice of Red Leather Lounge but it looks fantastic! Aero kit is excellent - better integrated with much smoother looking side skirts. That rear Aero bumper - I'm guessing that the plastic trim around the exhaust is different for the Cooper's single exhaust, allowing them to use one Aero rear bumper design for both models. But does this mean an Aero kitted Cooper will get two fog lights? Hope so. |

| MINI2 Newbie | The vehicle also uses 'CAN' technology, this is the main infrastructure for the vehicles networks. There are about 40 different control panels (heated seats, a/c, fogs, heated windscreen being the main options)... All the ones you see with the small digital display have automatic a/c. Radio options are basic radio (no cd -Rad1a), basic radio (cd=Rad1b), advanced radio (cd & MOST -Rad2), navi radio (Rad4 or CCC). I think all of the radios have an AUX input. You can have a 6 disc cdc, DAB. There are about 16 different stalk variations, and different rev counters and speedos depending on country etc. (When i left the company there were chrome or silver finishers on those variants). Some variants of steering wheel come with bluetooth prep, cruise control, audio control and tiptronic gears. Erm, thats all i can think of for the moment!!! Offline | Hi, I've just arrived in Paris. Just about to leave the hotel for the Motor Show now! I will try to get some photos uploaded tonight. My battery for my camera has died so unfortunately I'm going to have to rely on my camera phone (Sony Ericsson K800i - so I suppose it could be worse!) |
