I found out and from looking at photos from various sources that by chosing the half leather seating option we get less leather on the seats. The back upper panel is now cloth and the head rest is cloth where the current cars are leather. I had to go for punch carbon black becaue of that. Correct me anyone if I am wrong on this. By the way excellent coverage on the new R56 Mini Paul Thank You very much!!!

Talking Aero Kit Is On Mini.com Now!!!

The new JCW Aero kit has been added to the international mini.com website.

It shows front apron, side skirts & rear apron.

I can't post the url 'cos i've had less than 5 posts

just go to the site, it's easy to find.

Yes, the Astro Black does look a bit blue. Maybe the interior lighting?

At least we see the 15" rotator alloys - they look ok to me (just as well cos I've specced 'em).

As for the spoiler mystery - possible that the £120 option is to swap the standard spoiler for the Cooper S version. Dunno - be nice to get that cleared up.

Thanks to Mr M - must have been a tiring day.

I've got to agree - the aero kit and the wheels look fine to me too.

Lots of nice new JCW stuff ...Do we know if this is this going to be the basis of the new JCW model we'll be getting at the end of next year??

Love the new split rims too ...looks like another expensive mini could be on the cards in a year or so

Just no info about the tuning package yet

Loving the look of all the new JCW bits though.

It was acceptable in the 80's

RESULT! An Astro black & White Cooper which is what I've ordered (would prefer solid black but still )

I'm loving:
  • The Biege interior with cream colour line, piano black and chrome line looks excellent and a several classes above any other small car
  • Brushed Alloy trim - dilemma now if I get this or piano black
  • Black Cross Spokes - my Flame spokes just got dumped!
  • The Aero kit (need to see a Cooper rear bumper now - will be different as only 1 exhaust and 1 fog light)

I'm hating
  • White Crown Spokes - but then again I didn't like white S-spokes either
  • Red part leather interior looks cheap, in the back seats, the two red "lips" look very rude! - full leather is now a definite for me - nice work MINI in getting me to shell out for this!
  • The ugly buttons on the standard speedo and the bare looking centre console - which is one reason why I'm getting sat nav- nice work MINI in getting...etc

Great work Paul!
