Offline | Paris Motor Show by Eurostar 30th? I'm seriously thinking about a day trip to the Paris Motor Show to see the new Mini. I have looked up the fares from Waterloo to Paris £116 ish - not too bad. The only thing is I can't seem to find any info on how to get from the station at Paris to the Motor Show venue. Does anyone know how far and the best or cheapest way to get there? |

Offline | The Paris metro is easy to use, there is a station at the Gare du Nord where the Eurostar arrives. You pay 1.40 euros per journey of any length and the tickets come out of a machine like on the underground. Metro lines are numbered and there are maps on each platform. They go in the direction of the last station on the route. Welcome to the official site of the Paris Motor Show 2006 This links to the Paris Motor show site. You need the Port de Versaille station on line 12 which is on the line to Mairie d'Issy Hope this helps |

Offline | Cheers, that doesn't sound too bad - another step closer to going! Ok, so you get on the metro at Gare du Nord on line 4 (Porte D'Orleans) and change on to line 12 (Mairie d'Issy) at Montparnasse-Bienvenue. Then get off at Port de Versaille and follow the signs! hopefully... According to the information on RATP - Transports en Īle-de-France this should take about 30 minutes. Thanks for the help. Offline | I'm going for the weekend and its only costing me £100 for the hotel and the flight! We're flying in then catching a overground train to the centre. Spending the day and night in paris and then going to the motorshow on the Sunday (1st October). Really looking forward to it! |
