Ever tried having a wedding convoy the MINI way?

We have done 4 now, and the last one was in southern Malaysia. Even the newspaper reporter was around to cover this unique event.

We're getting married on the Italian Job, and laying on a bit of a do for roughly 100 minis and the guys there (prosecco and cake).

Beastmaster asked us a couple of weeks ago "if money was no object, what would we do differently?" Answer "absolutely nothing" (apart from take more of you guys with us). We always said that if we got married we would do something differentl and you can't get much more different from this.

Hopefully others will benefit from our wedding as we have to raise money for the National Childrens Homes through the Italian Job and need to take some toys with us as we meet Children from a local Children's Home while we're there (so if any of you know someone who can donate some toys it would be much appreciated)

We've asked family and friends not to get us wedding presents, but to make donations to the italian Job, so if any of you want to help (however small) you can click on the link under our signature to go to our webspace and make a donation.

We get married on the 26th October 2006 with HeatherP and AndyP as our witness. Get on a gondola down to San Maeco Square, for a couple of Belinis (sparkling wine and Peach puree) and then off on a 9 day "Mega MINI run" round Italy.
