Anyone seen this new website?

BetterDrivingPlease - Help Make Our Roads a Safer Place

Basically road users can now name and shame bad drivers on here!

''It's a jungle out there, thousands of speed cameras, but hundreds of thousands of relatively un-policed road-miles.

Time for us road users, pedestrians and drivers to report abuses - not the low-level errors that we all inadvertently make as part of life - but more flagrant abuse, careless, dangerous driving, speeding through the same built-up area each day, cutting-up, tailgating, illegal / unsafe vehicles, driving without tax or insurance, drink / drug driving, etc - we all see it everyday but few report it ''

It's like a police initiative... only without the police. A bit useless I reckon.

What a good idea... although a little intrusive...

I can think of a few people who need to be on there! A warning to steer well clear of them i suppose, but difficult to drive like an idiot when you've lost your liscence (deservedly) for drink driving...

Saw something like this a couple of years ago that had loads of reports. Couldnt find myself then and cant find myself now either.

I wonder how many of the green reports where they are saying how good a particular driver is are actually real. Could just be the person putting their own number plate on and saying, "This person is a fantastic driver, probably holds some kind of advanced driving certificate".

Waste of bandwidth - What a bunch of losers, its like reading a report from some primary school tell tail - ooo I saw a man on the phone whilst driving, I'm going to put you on the internet!!

As said above I'd be pretty unhappy with being on there, especially as there is no ability to argue the case and indeed how do they prove it etc.

Have the Police set this up, so they can cross another job off their decreasing task list?

Do you get so many points if you are reported, and the person with the most points at the end of the month becomes member of the month?
