Please do not post the same question or information in multiple forums. Doing so means you have to track replies in more than one place and makes searching for information more difficult for others later on.
There is a means by which a new thread in one forum can have exposure in a second one. If you think your topic warrants double exposure, do the following:
- Submit a new thread in the appropriate forum,
- Copy the URL of the thread,
- Send a PM to a Global Moderator, pasting the URL of the thread after the following request:
Please direct readers of the exposure forum to the following thread:
If a moderator deems your request reasonable, they will move the thread to the
exposure forum, and immediatey move it back to the
appropriate forum leaving a
redirect in the
exposure forum. Clicking the title of the redirected [denoted by

Moved:] thread in the
exposure forum will put a reader in the actual thread in the
appropriate forum.
The following types of requests may be considered reasonable:
- Direct readers of any Model Specific forum to a thread in any of the Interior & Ice, Exterior, Engine & Drivetrain Tuning, Wheels, Tyres, Suspension & Brakes and Faults & Fixes forums
Because high activity causes posts to get "buried" quickly thus negating their exposure, some moderators may not honor the following request:
- Direct readers of the General Discussion forum to any other forum
Thanks for not making multiple posts and not abusing double exposure requests
